Firing a wood-burning stove means inviting the flame as a design partner, being with the stove with all your senses for many hours, patiently enduring setbacks while continuing to learn and yet, above all, great happiness. What comes out of it? Cups, plates, bowls, large objects, each unique in its own way. In parallel, I have been making a fine, simple tableware series for the Teeschale in Prerow for many years. But the best thing is to see for yourself and visit me in the north of Mecklenburg in my workshop with its large garden.
